Quick review of Haywire starring Gina Carano.
Going into the film: It was something to watch on a Sunday boredom kick. There were no expectations of this being a good movie what so ever. However it is pleasant to look at Gina Carano.
Watching the film: The film has a pacing, action, and feel similar to the Ryan Gosseling movie Drive. The action/fight sequences were top notch in terms of technique and choreography. Also, what do you do when you build a movie around a MMA fighter? You make only enough dialogue as necessary to move the plot. It was great.
After the film: I was thoroughly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone.
