Silky Segue

I had the sudden urge to google “Lao Fu Tze”.  This comic was something I read when I was a child.  Everytime I went to the library, I would come back with the same thing: Encyclopedia Brown, a drawing book, and a Lao Fu Tze novel.

Well today I found this website.  I also just found out it’s called “Old Master Q”

Honestly, I don’t know how to describe the feeling of nostalgia that is flowing through me right now.  

Things I’m reminded of:

- Living with my grandparents

- Roaming chinatown

- The smell of dusty books in the Chinatown CPL Branch

- The townhouse where we used to live right after my folks got divorced (Age 6).

- The carefree life of a child

- Having massive pride in my Chinese Culture

It’s sad to say today I am like every other adult, but this was a nice break in memory lane.
